Tacos 

A classic Mexican dish that consists of a tortilla filled with      meat, vegetables, and various toppings such as salsa, guacamole, and cheese.

Enchiladas 

Rolled tortillas filled with meat or beans, covered in sauce and baked with cheese.

Guacamole

A dip made with mashed avocado, lime juice, tomato, onion, cilantro, and seasonings. Served with tortilla chips.

Quesadilla

A tortilla filled with cheese, meat, and vegetables, folded in half, and grilled or fried.

Fajita

Grilled meat (usually chicken or beef) served with grilled vegetables and wrapped in a tortilla.

Chiles Relleno

Stuffed peppers (usually poblano peppers) filled with cheese, meat, or beans and then fried.

Salsa

A tomato-based sauce that comes in a variety of styles and heat levels, used as a dip or a topping.

Pozole

A traditional soup made with hominy (dried corn kernels), meat (usually pork), and a spicy broth.

Tamale

Corn masa (dough) filled with meat or vegetables, wrapped in a corn husk and steamed.

Churros

Fried dough pastry, often served with a cinnamon-sugar coating and a chocolate dipping sauce.
