Chocolate Orange Bundt Cake is a delicious and unique variation of the classic Bundt cake. It combines the rich, chocolaty flavor of a traditional chocolate cake with the bright, citrusy flavor of oranges.

The cake is typically made with a combination of flour, sugar, butter, eggs, cocoa powder and orange zest. The orange zest gives the cake a unique and delicious flavor.

Ingredients

1 and 3/4 cups (220g) all-purpose flour, 3/4 cup (65g) unsweetened cocoa powder, 1 and 1/2 teaspoons baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon baking soda, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 3/4 cup (170g) unsalted butter,

1 and 1/2 cups (300g) granulated sugar, 2 large eggs, 1/4 cup (60ml) orange juice, 1 tablespoon orange zest, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, 1/2 cup (120ml) buttermilk

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease and flour a 10-12 cup bundt pan. In a medium bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Add in the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.

Stir in the orange juice, orange zest, and vanilla extract. Gradually add in the flour mixture, alternating with the buttermilk,

beginning and ending with the flour mixture. Mix until just combined.Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top with a spatula.

Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes,

then invert it onto a wire rack to cool completely. Once the cake is cooled, dust it with powdered sugar or make a chocolate glaze to drizzle over the top. Enjoy!
