2 (21 ounce) cans cherry pie filling, 1 (15.25 ounce) box yellow cake mix, 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted

Sprinkle the yellow cake mix evenly over the cherry pie filling. Pour the melted butter evenly over the top of the cake mix.

Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the filling is bubbly. Let cool slightly before serving.

Tips

For a richer flavor, use dark cherry pie filling. For a more decadent dessert, top the cake with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.

To add a bit of crunch, sprinkle the top of the cake with chopped nuts or granola. Cherry dump cake can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Enjoy!
