There’s nothing quite like the warm, sweet aroma of a peach cobbler baking in the oven.

This timeless dessert has been a favorite for generations, combining the succulent flavors of ripe peaches with a perfectly baked, golden topping.

Ingredient

4 cups of fresh ripe peaches, 1 cup all-purpose flour, 1 cup granulated sugar, 1 teaspoon baking powder, ½ teaspoon salt, 1 cup milk,

½ cup unsalted butter , 1 tablespoon lemon juice, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, Ground cinnamon, Vanilla ice cream (optional, for serving)

Instruction

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). In a mixing bowl, combine the sliced peaches, lemon juice, and vanilla extract. Toss gently to coat the peaches evenly.

In a separate bowl, mix the flour, 1 cup of sugar, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the milk to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.

Pour the melted butter into a baking dish. Pour the batter mixture over the butter, but do not stir.

Carefully spoon the peaches onto the batter, distributing them evenly. Sprinkle ground cinnamon over the peach layer.

Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the topping is golden brown and cooked through.

Allow the cobbler to cool slightly before serving. Serve warm, optionally with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
